Simple ingredients cleverly combined to create this simply divine eating experience. Creamy ricotta spread on crusty toasted sourdough bread, drizzled with honey and garnished with lightly toasted and crushed fennel and coriander. Feel free to add a pinch of chilli if you like a little kick.

Spiced Ricotta Honey Toast
Ingredients
- 2 slices crusty white bread or sourdough
- 4 heaped tablespoons ricotta cheese
- 1 -2 tbsp honey
- ¼ tsp fennel seeds
- ¼ tsp coriander seeds
- Pinch chilli flakes
Instructions
- Dry roast spices in a small frying for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Transfer to a mortar & pestle along with chilli flakes and crush into smaller pieces.
- Toast bread until golden brown. Spread thickly with ricotta and drizzle with honey. Finish by sprinkling over crushed spice mix.
