Recipe: Smoked Salmon Caviar Burger
When you can’t have a classic New York salmon, cream cheese and caviar bagel, here is an exciting homemade alternative
All the delicious ingredients you’ll find in a Lower East Side Jewish deli, normally sandwiched between a fresh chewy bagel. However, for most humans hanging out in different parts of the world who wish, but can’t reach the authentic aforementioned version, this recipe provides a satisfying and easy homemade version featuring a buttery scrambled egg ‘patty’ and charred buttered brioche burger bun.
The full ingredients list includes a pleasing balance of fresh-from-the-fridge cold cream cheese, smoked salmon, slightly sharp thinly sliced red onion, lemon and salt-drizzled crispy lettuce and juicy balls of caviar. The brioche adds a slightly sweet touch that’s reminiscent of a malt syrup-boiled bagel. A very decadent burger and one you will enjoy every mouthful with class.
