Ready in less than 10 minutes with no cooking required, this creamy whipped Feta Crunch Dip is delicious when served with tortilla chips, flatbreads, breadsticks or fresh vegetables such as carrots and cucumber sticks.

What is different about this dip?

Feta is whipped with thick Greek yoghurt which gives it an extra creamy indulgent taste and texture. Chopped pickled jalapeños add just the right touch of spice, but the most exciting part is the chopped herbs and pistachios mixed through the dip creating the ‘crunch’. Each mouthful is layered with flavour.

Keep the crunch

After preparing the dip be sure to serve it immediately. After a few hours, the feta and yoghurt will naturally start to soften the pistachios, reducing their crunch value (although the dip will still taste amazing).

Olive oil

Olive oil is used twice in this recipe, blended into the dip and drizzled on top as a garnish. As this is an actual flavour of its own, it’s important to use high-quality, good-tasting oil. A regular cooking olive oil won’t give the right taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g feta cheese
  • 100g Greek yoghurt
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • 2 heaped Tbsp chopped pickled jalapeños
  • 3 Tbsp chopped pistachio nuts
  • 2 Tbsp chopped mint
  • 2 Tbsp chopped dill
  • Sea salt flakes
  • 4 Tbsp good quality tasting olive oil + extra for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine feta, yoghurt, lime juice, olive oil and a pinch of salt in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Stir through chopped jalapenos, 1 tablespoon each of chopped mint and dill and 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios.
  3. Transfer dip to a serving bowl. Garnish with the remaining mint, dill and chopped pistachios.
