The ultimate dip that is salty, creamy, flavoured with lime, jalapeños, fragrant herbs and has an addictive crunch

Ready in less than 10 minutes with no cooking required, this creamy whipped Feta Crunch Dip is delicious when served with tortilla chips, flatbreads, breadsticks or fresh vegetables such as carrots and cucumber sticks.

What is different about this dip?

Feta is whipped with thick Greek yoghurt, giving it an extra creamy, indulgent taste and texture. Chopped pickled jalapeños add just the right touch of spice, but the most exciting part is the chopped herbs and pistachios that are mixed through the dip to create the ‘crunch’. Every bite is layered with flavour.

Keep the crunchy with a pistachio topping

Once you have made the dip, make sure you serve it straight away. After a few hours, the feta and yoghurt will naturally start to soften the pistachios, reducing their crunchiness (although the dip will still taste amazing).

Olive oil blended in and used as a garnish

Olive oil is used twice in this recipe, in the dip and as a garnish. As this is a flavour in its own right, it’s important to use good quality, good tasting oil. Regular cooking olive oil won’t give the right flavour.

Feta Crunch Dip

This creamy whipped feta and yoghurt dip is perfect served with tortilla chips, flatbreads, breadsticks or fresh vegetables such as carrot and cucumber sticks

Ingredients

  • 200g feta cheese
  • 100g Greek yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 heaped tablespoons chopped pickled jalapeños
  • 3 tbsp chopped pistachio nuts
  • 2 tbsp chopped mint
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill
  • Sea salt flakes
  • 4 tbsp good quality tasting olive oil + extra for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine feta, yoghurt, lime juice, olive oil and a pinch of salt in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Stir through chopped jalapenos, 1 tablespoon each of chopped mint and dill and 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios.
  • Transfer dip to a serving bowl. Garnish with the remaining mint, dill and chopped pistachios.
