When you can’t have a classic New York salmon, cream cheese and caviar bagel, here is an exciting homemade alternative
The burger contains the delicious ingredients you’d find in a Jewish deli on New York’s Lower East Side, usually sandwiched between a fresh, chewy bagel. This recipe provides a satisfying and easy homemade alternative with a buttery scrambled egg ‘patty’ and charred buttered brioche burger bun.
What is in a Smoked Salmon Caviar Burger
The full ingredient list includes a pleasing balance of fresh-from-the-fridge cold cream cheese, smoked salmon, slightly pungent thinly sliced red onion, lemon and salt-drizzled crisp lettuce and succulent caviar balls. The brioche adds a slightly sweet touch, reminiscent of a bagel cooked in malt syrup. This is a very decadent burger and one that you will savour with every bite.
