New York Style Bagel in a Burger Bun
If you can’t get your hands on a classic New York salmon, cream cheese and caviar bagel, here’s an exciting homemade alternative. Usually served on a fresh, chewy bagel, it contains the same delicious ingredients you’d find in a Jewish deli on New York’s Lower East Side. This recipe offers a satisfying and easy homemade alternative with a buttery scrambled egg ‘patty’ and a charred buttered brioche burger bun.
What is in a Smoked Salmon Caviar Burger?
The full ingredient list includes a pleasing balance of fresh-from-the-fridge cold cream cheese, smoked salmon, slightly pungent thinly sliced red onion, lemon and salt-drizzled crisp lettuce and succulent caviar balls. The brioche adds a slightly sweet note, reminiscent of a bagel cooked in malt syrup. This is a very decadent burger that you will savour with every bite.
