There are two key elements to making this burger: the bacon jam and the ultimate burger sauce. The Perfect 3-Cheese Blend for an Irresistible Melt on Your Beef Burger Patty
Also known as ‘Tex-Mex’ cheese (used in tacos, nachos and burgers), a blend of white cheddar, red cheddar and mozzarella is used to give the cheese a mouth-watering ooze and colour when melted. Other cheeses can be substituted, such as Monterey Jack or Swiss Appenzeller for a stronger flavour.

Bacon Jam Cheeseburger Recipe

Bacon Jam Cheeseburger
Ingredients
- 1 large firm brioche bun
- 200g high quality beef mince
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Sea salt flakes and cracked black pepper
- Dash of hot sauce
- 2 Cos lettuce leaves
- 1 -2 slices of tomato
- Handful of 3 Cheese mix – equal parts grated mozzarella, white cheddar and red cheddar

- 2 tbsp The Ultimate Burger Sauce Recipe here
Instructions
- Mix minced beef, onion powder, garlic powder, hot sauce, salt and pepper and form into a burger patty slightly larger than your bun.
- Toast inside of both brioche buns.
- Fry the patty in the oil over a medium heat until nicely browned. Turn and fry for a further 30 seconds before adding the cheese. Cover and allow the cheese to melt completely.
- Spread the ultimate burger sauce on the bottom brioche bun. Top with lettuce, beef and cheese patty and tomato. Spread the inside of the top bun with bacon marmalade and place on top of the burger.
