Recipe: Guinness Rum Espresso
Classic espresso martini with an exciting Irish twist
Guinness Rum Espresso with caramel chocolate melted into hot coffee. Poured over ice along with spiced rum and Guinness. Topped with milk chocolate shavings. That’s a yes please!
Guinness Rum Espresso
Like a cocktail and caramel chocolate dessert rolled into one.
Ingredients
- 50 ml spiced rum preferably a dark spiced rum such as The Kraken
- 1 small square of caramel centered chocolate
- 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- 30 ml hot strong espresso coffee
- 60 ml Guinness
- Milk chocolate shavings
- Ice
- Cocktail shaker
Instructions
- Put caramel chocolate square in a small cup along with sugar and pour over hot espresso coffee. Stir until sugar and chocolate have melted.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add coffee mix, rum and Guinness and shake vigorously.
- Strain into a coup or martini glass.
- Finish with shavings of milk chocolate on top
