Party nuts are the perfect thing to serve guests when entertaining
Nuts contain a lot of oil so when covered in spice and roasted at a very low temperature the oils release and envelop the nut with a delicious salty spicy flavour. Serve to guests whilst pouring drinks or keep a batch ready-made in the cupboard to snack on during the day.
Spice mix
Keep nuts spicy by sticking to earthy flavours of cumin and smoked paprika. Add a pinch of chili if you like for heat. For those with a sweet tooth, sugar or maple syrup can be added to the seasoning to produce a salty-sweet finish.
