What Makes This Bacon Egg and Cheese Burger So Good
This isn’t just any bacon, egg and cheese burger, it’s a bold, flavour-packed masterpiece. Crispy bacon, a perfectly fried egg, melted Gouda cheese and juicy, beer-soaked onions are stacked inside a soft, buttery brioche bun. Topped with tangy mustard mayo, pickles and fresh, crunchy salad, it’s the ultimate indulgent burger for brunch, lunch or whenever the craving strikes.

Why Brioche, Beer-Soaked Onions and Mustard Work So Well
Thanks to its light texture and subtle sweetness, a brioche bun makes an excellent base for a burger, balancing salty meats and tangy sauces beautifully. Beer-soaked onions add depth and richness, softening quickly as they cook, while American mustard brings a mild, slightly sweet sharpness that ties everything together.
For an extra burst of flavour, fry the egg in hot oil until the edges turn crispy, but don’t flip it over. If Gouda isn’t available, a good melting cheddar is a suitable alternative.
