Risoni with Homemade Basil Pesto

The first step is to prepare the Basil Pesto, recipe here Boil the risoni pasta in salted water for as long as the packet instructions suggest. Drain and return the pasta to the cooking pot.
Start by adding 2 tablespoons of basil pesto to the risoni and stir to combine. Taste and continue to add more pesto if desired until you are satisfied. Season with salt and pepper if necessary.
Divide risoni between bowls. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with grated parmesan cheese.
